After several months of meeting, the Sutton Hoo Ships Company are in a position to start sharing more about the project and are building a dedicated ‘Saxon Ship’ website. The planning of the website has shown just how big and how complex this project is. The site needs to appeal to an audience ranging from Key Stage two children studying the Saxons to those that have dedicated their whole lives to researching and following the Saxon era or historic boat building.
The website also needs to attract sponsorship, without which the project won’t be completed, and provide a chronological record of how the project unfolds.
