Jacq has predominantly worked as an accountant, auditor, project manager and trainer but has more lately switched her working life towards the things she is most passionate about which include keeping herself and others fit and healthy.
She works for British Rowing as a Coach Educator teaching the Level 2 qualification and the Eastern Region Rowing Council where she is a Club and Coach coordinator. This involves working with the in-land sliding seat and coastal fixed-seat rowing clubs to ensure that coaches are well qualified and clubs are running smoothly. She was the captain of the Deben Rowing Club in Woodbridge, for many years, and the founder of the ever-expanding, Woodbridge Coastal Rowing Club.
Recently Jacq could be seen coxing Sae Wylfing, the half length Anglo-Saxon replica, up and down the river Deben for the very successful local film, ‘Life on the Deben’. Her experience of rowing and steering the smaller replica will become invaluable when the larger ship has been constructed.
Jacq has been project managing the crew since 2018 and offers skills in leadership, organisation, administration, social media and web development.
