Andrew was formerly a finance director and more latterly the successful founder of a number of small technology companies dealing with print control systems and optical AI. He is a member of the FCA, MBA and FRSA as well as formally being a trustee for The Ship’s Company and an active member of the Woodbridge Riverside Trust.

Andrews experience in finance, governance and project management are being put to good use with The Ships Company and his interest in technology is immediately transferable to the reconstruction of the ship.

Andrew has been competitive in rugby, squash and sailing and in his retirement continues to keep himself fit with running, walking and cycling. More recently he finds himself divided by his keen interests in gardening and sailing but is very much enjoying being part of the Ships Company Team.

When asked what what he hope to achieve by being part of this project his enthusiasm to create an iconic piece of theatre from an impression in the ground shines through. He is keen to see the research validated by using specialist knowledge to build a truly spectacular ship in the same place that the original was laid to rest.
