Saxon Festival 2023

Welcome to the website page for the inaugural Saxon Festival which will run from Saturday 27 May to Saturday 3 June 2023. The multi-site festival will be held in Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo, near the river Deben in Suffolk.

The festival is jointly hosted by the Sutton Hoo Ship’s Company, The Sutton Hoo Society and the National Trust and aims to bring to life the everyday life of our Saxon ancestors.
