The Sutton Hoo Ship’s Company has 90 volunteers all working in different crews to either build, record, research, promote or administrate the ship build. The volunteers come from all walks of life but have a single shared passion to build the replica ship and see it on the water.
During the festival, you will be greeted by Crew Mates and watch demonstrations provided by the Production Crew. You will also be able to talk to other shipwrights and volunteers who are all playing an important part in making this project happen.
